Meet Autumn Bates

Girl Scout, Community Leader

Autumn is a 18-year-old freshman at the University of Toledo. Autumn has been a member of the varsity cheer team, gospel choir, orchestra, National High School Honor Society, Girl Scout Ambassador, Toledo Excel, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and helps with the Baby-Sitting Ministry. She also volunteers as a greeter at the annual Toledo Symphony Orchestra Concert. She volunteers with Girl Scouts teaching girls how to develop cheer and leadership skills during spring and summer day camps. 

 Autumn is very creative; she loves to do hair and show off her braiding skills.  Education is a priority for her, she carries a 3.8 GPA. Autumn plans to study Biology this fall. Her ultimate goal is to become a Pediatric Surgeon. Autumn has a passion for cheer, she aspires to cheer for the University of Toledo. Simone Biles is her favorite female athlete; she admires her drive and work ethic. A quote that inspires her is: “I’d rather regret the risks that didn’t work out than the chances I didn’t take at all.” -Simone Biles
